Dragon Silk Road Delegation Visits Shandong Molong to Explore Overseas Oil & Gas Tubular Markets

Recently, the Dragon Silk Road Delegation from Xiamen Dragon Silk Road Import & Export International Trading Co., Ltd. visited the production facilities of Shandong Molong for an on-site business inspection. The delegation toured the complete manufacturing process for oil and gas tubular products and held in-depth discussions with the company on overseas energy project procurement requirements, cross-border supply assurance, customized product solutions, and other areas of potential cooperation. Shandong Molong has been engaged in the manufacturing of petroleum tubular products for many years and has established an integrated production chain covering billet rolling, heat treatment, automated finishing, inspection, and finished-product storage. Its facilities are equipped with large-scale hot-rolling production lines, annular heat-treatment equipment, and intelligent inspection stations, enabling large-scale production of products such as oil casing and tubing. The production process incorporates multiple quality inspection procedures, allowing the products to meet the requirements of complex operating environments in overseas oilfields. During the factory visit, the Dragon Silk Road Delegation toured the hot-rolling workshop, pipe finishing area, heat-treatment section, and finished-product storage facilities. The delegation observed key production processes including high-temperature steel pipe forming, automated pipe processing, and non-destructive testing. The delegation also discussed product specifications, order lead times, export packaging solutions, and other details with the factory team, gaining a direct understanding of Shandong Molong’s production capacity and quality-control standards. During the meeting session, both parties exchanged views on current overseas energy engineering markets, end-user procurement challenges, cross-border logistics coordination, and project implementation support. Dragon Silk Road introduced the procurement requirements of overseas customers for oil and gas tubular products based on its international market channels and overseas customer resources. Shandong Molong presented its capabilities in customized production, production capacity planning, and export delivery. Both parties reached a common understanding that they will continue to leverage their respective strengths, strengthen the connection between manufacturing capabilities and overseas market channels, and jointly promote the international expansion of oil and gas tubular products, creating opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation.
